Become a Greenway Gal!

Greenway Gals is a group of female Thread Trail supporters co-founded and led by Donna de Molina and Jane Green. Gals get together to hike and kayak several times a year along the Carolina Thread Trail, while helping to support and promote our regional trail system. Being a part of this group is a fun way to experience the outdoors, make new connections and support the mission of the Thread Trail.

Greenway Gals are invited to exclusive outdoor outings and enjoy access to a private Facebook group to connect with fellow Gals. But most importantly, you will be helping to advance the Thread Trail network through your financial support*!

*Greenway Gals membership requires a minimum $250 donation. If you have questions about joining, please contact us at info@carolinathreadtrail.org.

Upcoming Greenway Gal Events

Spring Spider Lily Paddle
Saturday, June 12
9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Paddle Program
We will be kayaking through a 2-mile section of the Catawba River Blueway through the Rocky Shoals Spider Lilies of Landsford Canal State Park. We will take our time going down the river, making sure to stop and enjoy the flowers, take photos, and learn about the history and ecology of this beautiful section of Carolina Thread Trail blueway. After our Spider Lily tour, we will jump out of the boats and all walk together along the Landsford Canal Trail back to our starting location for a picnic lunch from Panera.
