Trail Spotlight: Murray’s Mill Trail

Travel back in time when you visit the Murray’s Mill Trail. This natural surface trail winds across farmland, along Ball’s Creek and through the woods. It eventually leads to Murray’s Mill, on the National Register of Historic Places, built at the turn of the 20th century. Explore the numerous buildings preserved by the Catawba County Historical Association for a small fee and experience what life was like a century ago. You can also extend your walk by looping the mill pond and take in the serene landscape. This 1.4-mile path has both natural and educational appeal; visit soon!
