A project of this magnitude requires the involvement of many leaders throughout the 15-county region. The Thread’s staff and participating communities will often seek the input of a broad cross-section of county and municipal staff members, civic leaders and elected officials. The Carolina Thread Trail Advisory Council is a group of dedicated community leaders who provide invaluable guidance as the project advances.
