Three public meetings are being held in October in Chester County as part of the Carolina Thread Trail Master Greenway Planning Process. The meetings are designed to inform folks about The Thread and to engage citizens in planning the location and character of their sections of the trail.

YORK COUNTY PUBLIC MEETINGS SUMMARY
Four public meetings were held in March and April in Gaston and York counties in response to the pilot grants awarded to these communities. The meetings were designed to educate folks about The Thread and to engage citizens in planning the location and character of their sections of the trail. These meetings were well attended and provided thoughtful input and suggestions from local citizens. Additionally, Open Houses were held in both Gaston and York Counties to report on collective input and provide alternate routes for The Thread. Community feedback was collected and the input is currently being reviewed to determine the best routes for The Thread to weave through your community.
