This 2.4 mile trail is located along Rocky Creek, a tributary of the Catawba River. The natural path, as well as the land surrounding it on both sides of the creek has been designated as an Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society. This designation marks its significance as a diverse and healthy wildlife habitat.
Directions and Parking
From Great Falls travel approximately 1.2 miles south along Highway 200. The trailhead will be located before the Rocky Creek bridge on the left. Look for a dirt road entrance before the bridge.

Easy to Moderate: The gravel trail along the river is an easy walk although not ADA compliant. The route to the trailhead/parking area from the trail is up a fairly steep paved incline. The pavement up this hill is a patchwork, so watch your footing.
