Riverside Greenway Cramerton NC

This 1.2 mile loop of the Riverside Greenway winds along the bank of the South Fork River, land that was donated by Burlington Industries in 1993. Running north, the Riverside Greenway begins at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Cramer Mountain Road in one of the oldest sections of Cramerton Locals refer to this area

Cramerton. as “Old Town.” Along the paved, urban trail, visitors may encounter wildlife such as wood ducks and beavers. There are also many river overlooks, canoe portages, a picnic shelter, restroom and a basketball court. The trail is ADA compliant and ends at the Southern Railroad overpass where hikers can make the loop and walk back to the trailhead.

Directions and Parking
From Hwy 29/74 (Wilkinson Boulevard) traveling west, turn left onto Lakewood Road. Go to the stopstop siggn and turn left onto Cramer Mountain Road. Turn left the first road on the left (Riverside Drive). Go straight until you see the trailhead and parking area on the right.
