Morrow Mountain State Park
Morrow Mountain State Park is located near Albemarle, North Carolina, and covers 4,742 acres within the ancient Uwharrie Mountains. The park has 32 miles of trails, access to Lake Tillery and is home to the historic Kron House.

Rocky River
Rocky River starts in Iredell County near Mooresville, North Carolina, flows south into Cabarrus County, then continues southeastward to form the line between Stanly County, North Carolina; Union County, North Carolina; and Anson County, North Carolina. This river is known for its whitewater rafting and scenic beauty and has great opportunities for trails and access points.
