CAROLINA THREAD TRAIL

Four public meetings were held in March and April in Gaston and York counties in response to the pilot grants awarded to these communities. The meetings were designed to educate folks about The Thread and to engage citizens in planning the location and character of their sections of the trail. These meetings were well attended and provided thoughtful input and suggestions from local citizens. Open Houses are scheduled in each community to report on collective input and provide alternate routes for The Thread. Please drop by between the times listed below to view alternate routes and provide your thoughts about how The Thread will weave through your community.
