Trailheads is a grassroots group of individuals who are dedicated to increasing access to trails and outdoor spaces, offering you the opportunity to be part of something bigger. Your membership contributes to the completion of over 1,500 miles of trails in North and South Carolina. Become a Trailhead today by donating $25, $50, or $100 one time or annually to the Thread Trail and help fund hundreds of miles of trail right in your own backyard.

Greenway Gals is a group of women who get together to hike and kayak several times a year along the Carolina Thread Trail, while helping to support and promote our regional trail system. It is a fun way to experience the outdoors and support the mission of The Thread Trail.

Members Blue Star Hiking Challenge
Can you hike 8 miles along the Carolina Thread Trail within Anne Springs Close Greenway?

8-mile, Moderate Exercise Hike
Led by Carolina Thread Trail Master and Master Naturalist Charlotte Morley, our members and friends are invited to work up a sweat on this fun exercise hike. Members only will receive one free day pass to Anne Springs Close Greenway for the day of this hike. A shuttle to take hikers from the parking lot to the end of the trail will also be provided.
