The Carolina Thread Trail provides innumerable benefits to our region, such as improving health, boosting the economy, preserving our environment and connecting neighbors. However, we cannot do this alone. Your support, through donations and membership, is essential to advance the Thread Trail throughout our 15-county region!

The Thread Trail is being built through a public/private funding model. Private donations are leveraged with public funds to create catalytic community grants to plan and build trail, as well as support program expenses.  Catawba Lands Conservancy is the lead agency for the trail network with Foundation For The Carolinas serving as its philanthropic partner. The Carolina Thread Trail Fund is housed at Foundation For The Carolinas. The Carolina Thread Trail is a 501c3 charitable organization and donations are tax-deductible.
