Float the Fork
South Fork River, McAdenville, NC

Wild for Wildflowers
UNC Charlotte, Charlotte, NC

The woodlands are waking up and native wildflowers are blooming!  Bring the family and explore the secret lives of six native wildflowers, up close and personal. Tuck Fest
US National Whitewater Center, Charlotte, NC

Three-day celebration of the active outdoor lifestyle! Enjoy recreational races, live music, vendors and even dog competitions. Earth Day Clean Up
Broad River Greenway, Shelby, NC

Union Heritage Festival 
Union County Agricultural Center, Monroe, NC

The Union County Heritage Festival celebrates the natural, cultural and historical heritage of Union County. Bike Fest
George Poston Park, Gastonia, NC

George Poston Park is home to over 10 miles of mountain bike trails and will connect into the Thread Trail system soon. BIKEFEST will feature live music from Stepside Deluxe, food trucks, bike demos, local bike shop vendors, FREE guided trail rides, mountain bike skills clinic, and much more. Roots Festival – Earth Day 
Savona Mill, Charlotte, NC

Along the Thread Trail at Irwin and Stewart Creek Greenway is Savona Mill and Blue Blaze Brewery. Stop by for live music, food trucks, family activities, local vendors and beer throughout the day. Don’t miss the Bennu Gardens community garden ribbon cutting at 11am. Earth Day Celebration
Anne Springs Close Greenway, Fort Mill, SC

Get your selfie outside! Starting at 4-Mile Creek Greenway trailhead, part of the Thread Trail and winding its way to to Squirrel Lake Park, visit earth-friendly exhibitors and take advantage of recycling opportunities, educational booths, shopping, and a few freebies. There will be music, food options, and cool scavenger hunts.
